Why FAMI-KAN is Best
When a friend sees only one of the shows, the simplest fair answer is to split each cost only among the people it was for: their own ticket, their share of the nights they stayed, and nothing toward the show they skipped. Say Mia and Ava see both Friday and Saturday, and Lily comes for Saturday only. Tickets are $150 each, and the hotel room is $240 a night. Friday's tickets ($300) and Friday night ($120 each) are split between Mia and Ava. Saturday's tickets ($450) and Saturday night ($80 each) are split three ways. Mia and Ava each pay $500, and Lily pays $230. Concert trips get tangled when one person buys all the tickets on their card months ahead, another books the hotel, and the merch run happens in a rush. In FAMI-KAN, enter each show's tickets and each night of the hotel as separate payments, and use "Target Members" to choose who shares each one. The settlement works out the fewest transfers, so you can sort it out on the way home.

Enter each night as its own payment and tick only the people who stayed. With a $240 room, a night for two is $120 each and a night for three is $80 each.
Use "Change shares for this payment only" to set a fixed amount for the pricier seat. On $450 of Saturday tickets, Mia's $200 floor seat is fixed, and Ava and Lily split the remaining $250, $125 each.
Only for the rides they took. Enter each day's gas and parking separately and leave them out under "Target Members" on the days they weren't in the car.
Log the tickets with the date they were bought. The History tab can be sorted by date, so early purchases and on-the-day costs sit in one timeline.
Each event uses one currency. Pick the currency you'll settle in and enter amounts in it; FAMI-KAN doesn't convert between currencies, so convert foreign receipts yourself first.
